City of London - Hybrid Working

3 days per week, 20 hours

£30,000 - £35,000 *DOE (Pro Rata)

Are you detail-oriented, numerically minded, and keen to land a new part time role? Our client is seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to support their finance department in managing purchase ledger tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving organisation, who offers flexible working.

Duties:

  • Manage and distribute accounts emails, ensuring smooth operations of the business
  • Prepare files and invoices via COINS system
  • Dealing with a high number of cost codes and POS for invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements and handle client queries
  • Prepare weekly purchase ledger payments
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders regarding outstanding invoices
  • Embrace any additional tasks assigned by the Finance Manager

Requirements:

  • Must have previous Finance and Purchase Ledger experience
  • Must have experience dealing with a high volume of invoices and PO's
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be numerically minded, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of Coins is ideal, however, not essential
  • MS Office knowledge, including Excel
  • Trustworthy and dedicated team player, able to manage your own workload and prioritise
