We've got a great opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a London-based entertainment group! This position will focus around providing accurate and timely accounting information to assist in day-to-day processes for Publishing clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Review UK Publications & Translation contracts, schedules, and settlements
  • Track, allocate, and chase deposits
  • Match and apply cash receipts to payment lines on booking reports
  • Prepare booking lines and deductions for payment journal posting
  • Prepare and review statements for payment journal entries
  • Coordinate with other Trust Accounting teams and escalate issues when necessary
  • Support system and process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar accounting role, ideally in media or entertainment
  • Knowledge of accounting practices and multi-currency transactions
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
