Finance Assistant | TV & Film Business | London

Harmonic is delighted to be working on behalf of a dynamic, fast-paced TV & Film production company, in their search for a Finance Assistant.

The Client

As a highly regarded SME in the film production industry, you will be joining a scaling organisation who is renowned for their dynamic, sociable and non-corporate culture.

Due to their continued growth, they are looking for an Assistant Accountant who has a passion for TV & Film to support wider team. They are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-orientated individual with prior experience in a Finance Assistant role to join their dedicated team. You'd be reporting into a talented, friendly, and impressive COO who's keen to provide mentorship for anyone interested in the finance side of TV and Film.

This role presents a unique opportunity to actively contribute to their finance operations and significantly influence their ongoing success. You'll have opportunities to learn more about the film production and finance industry, so this is a great role for someone keen on accounting and film.

The Duties

In terms of responsibilities, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing and tracking invoices
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation
  • Managing expenses
  • Issuing invoices
  • Supporting with cashflow tracking
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Managing loan repayments
  • Liaising with external accountancy practice
  • Ad hoc tasks to support the COO

What we need to see (essential):

  • A passion for the TV & Film sector
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Good organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • At least 1-year Finance/Accounts Assistant experience

Salary: £30,000-£35,000

Location: Central London

Working Pattern: 5 days in office with the flexibility for hybrid - 4 days in-office, 1 day work from home (WFH)

Ideal Start: ASAP or 1 month
