Company Overview

You will be joining a very well-established and award-winning Communications Consultancy as their Finance Assistant (AP/AR/Credit Control/Billing) on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a close-knit finance team of 4, you will report into the newly appointed Finance Manager (placed by Investigo) and be supported by the CFO (also placed by Investigo). Based in their modern City of London office 3 days a week, you will have the flexibility to work from home for the remaining 2 days.

Role Responsibilities

In your new role, you will be responsible for invoice processing, processing staff expenses, dealing with suppliers and preparing payment runs. You will be responsible for ensuring all bills are raised in a timely and accurate manner, liaising with client facing teams to ensure you are provided with clear billing instructions/schedules, sending out monthly client debtor statements, communicating with clients, helping to resolve billing/collection issues, contacting clients via email/telephone to ensure invoices are paid on time, ensuring billing is in the correct currency and VAT is included when required, maintaining a billing schedule to ensure all billing instructions are captured, ensuring the AR ledger is reconciled and providing support/cover for the team when needed.

Role Requirements

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to possess at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Credit Control, Billing and/or Revenue. You will be an Accounting & Finance graduate (ideally 2:1 and above) with experience using Paprika finance software. You will be a proactive, enthusiastic and dedicated individual with outstanding communication skills and a strong work ethic. You will ideally have prior experience working in an Agency or Professional Services environment. You will be a collaborative team player with a clear drive to succeed. You will be interested in working in a high growth, fast-paced and changing environment.

You will receive an annual salary of up to £37,000 + Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
