Finance Assistant

Salary: £30k - £35k

Location: Wood Green, London

5 days a week in office during probation - 4 days post-probation

My client is an exciting privately backed SME within the property management industry that is looking for an accounts assistant to join their finance team to progress their experience and knowledge in finance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct audit reviews and analysis of cash expenditures for all care home locations.
  • Enter resident account transactions into Sage, reconcile accounts, and confirm transactions through periodic onsite visits.
  • Provide support to the finance team by entering sales and purchase data from source documents.
  • Aid in the overall reconciliation of Sage accounts.
  • Meet all critical month-end deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Assist the Finance Director in updating the integrated Cash Flow Forecast and other financial models.
  • Help the Finance Director prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
  • Respond to financial inquiries from individual care homes.
  • Manage and oversee various ad-hoc financial tasks.
  • Comply with the company's financial policies and procedures.
  • Participate in company meetings, providing financial reports to managers as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years previous experience within Finance
  • Experience within Property, Construction or Care preferred.
  • Experience working within a multi-site business
  • First class communications skills and confidence liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
