A luxury fashion and retail brand are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to assist the AP function.
Role and responsibilities:
- Ensuring invoices and credit notes are processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensuring invoices and credit notes are allocated to the relevant PO
- Chasing outstanding invoices
- Assisting with supplier queries
- Ensuring invoices are paid and relevant tax invoices are allocated promptly
- Preparing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Credit cards and expense handling
- Providing support to the wider finance team and ad-hoc analysis
- Assisting in month end including bank postings and reconciliations
This role is perfect for a real go-getter who is proactive and looking to progress within a finance career. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a years' experience in a similar role, dealing with invoicing and reconciliations, with a keen interest in fashion and a degree in finance and accounting or similar.
