Launched in January 2020 our agency has grown quickly to look after over 20 brands that are stocked in the best stores globally. We take a merchandising led approach with the aim of providing the best possible product thus driving growth and sell through in an organic way.

We are now recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join us as we continue to grow our business. This would be an ideal role for a developing finance professional with an interest in the fashion industry and suited to someone looking to work for 4 or 5 days per week.

You will be part of a team of three providing support to the Finance Manager and the Finance Director.

Key responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Processing invoices, expenses and credit card submissions on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy on coding, tax and in line with the company expense policy.
  • Chasing for expense information and receipts.
  • Credit control:

- Maintaining strong and successful client relationships.- Tracking and managing creditor debt, ensuring timely payments are made.- Predicting and solving payments issues before they become problematic.- Regular effective reporting and escalation of unpaid debts.

  • Ongoing development of related systems and processes.
  • Liaising with wider team and relationship building.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Part qualified/studier (AAT or similar).
  • Proficient on Xero.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Knowledge of Pleo and Dext desirable.
  • Be reliable, thorough, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing demands and a fast-paced environment.
  • Be committed to excellence.
  • Highly personable team player.
  • Have strong problem solving and organisational skills and be able prioritise own tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience of working in an SME within a small finance team preferable.
