VisionFR are delighted to be acting on behalf of a growing creative business. You’ll be working across 2 small design / branding agencies part of a group entity supporting the Head of Finance.

Finance Assistant Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

  • Manage payables ledger, post invoices and reconcile creditor accounts
  • Post and reconcile bank transactions
  • Process payments from company bank accounts
  • Process employee expense claims, including payment runs, and act as the main point of contact for expenses advice.
  • Assist with the set up of new suppliers
  • Daily cash reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of some monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of supplier payment runs

Accounts Receivable

  • Draft, edit and finalise invoices for clients, working closely with Account Leads
  • Maintain trackers for overall accounts including amount billed, approved budgets, inter-company budget allocations and year to date fees and expenses.
  • Ensure that invoices are submitted in a timely manner and in accordance with the Client agreements.
  • Upload invoices to client portals as required.
  • Assist in the collection process as needed.
  • Assist Project Managers/Client leaders on client queries and requests.
  • Reconcile work in progress, accrued and deferred income.
  • Monthly intercompany billing.

  • Positive feedback from internal stakeholders

Key Requirements for Junior Finance Assistant

  • Eager to have a career in a creative industry within a finance role
  • Proactive and a great problem solver
  • Comfortable working to strict deadlines
  • Enthusiastic, with can-do attitude
  • At least, strong basic excel and other MS Office skills
  • Strong organisational skills & a keen eye for detail
  • Enjoys working in a fun, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
