In this role, you will:
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices, handle payment runs, manage back-orders, and ensure accurate financial records through close collaboration with the finance team.
- Oversee payment runs, ensuring a seamless digital process for collating and processing payments.
- Match purchase orders to approvals and delivery notes, raise payments, and manage remittance advice.
- Update daily income sheets, perform straightforward bank reconciliations, and maintain the cashbook.
The position offers a competitive salary, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, and additional perks such as gym access and social events at the office.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold or be working towards an AAT qualification (or equivalent), though this is not essential.
- Have experience working in a charity or public sector organisation, such as the NHS, though candidates from smaller commercial backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
- Be proficient in Sage 50 and have a solid background in Accounts Payable.
- Be detail-oriented, efficient, and collaborative, with a strong awareness of team dynamics and pressures.
