Harper May is collaborating with a leading construction company to find a diligent and organised Finance Assistant to join their Finance team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day accounting procedures and contribute to various finance-related projects, ensuring the smooth operation of the company's financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all Accounts Payable (AP) invoices, payments, and intercompany billings.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all internal and external AP queries.
  • Manage the administration of the accounts inbox(s).
  • Assist with finance-related projects, particularly the NetSuite integration project.
  • Provide support to the wider Finance team.
  • Reconcile bank transactions and statements.
  • Assist with month-end activities.
  • Investigate and resolve outstanding creditor items.
  • Review and process employee expense claims.
  • Review and process employee credit cards and prepaid cards.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and third parties, both via email and phone.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar finance role.
  • Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Contract Details:

  • This role is offered as a 3-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC).
  • This is an office-based position, requiring 5 days of on-site work each week.
