I am delighted to be partnered with a Boutique City based law firm in their search for a Finance assistant to join their London office. Joining an Accounts team of 5 this role offers great exposure to a variety of tasks across legal finance.

Daily Duties:

  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Managing daily bank transactions and overseeing both client and office accounts
  • Processing weekly staff expenses and credit card payments via Clearspend.
  • Setting up disbursement payments and preparing weekly payment runs
  • Providing credit control support and professionally interfacing with clients
  • Offering general finance administrative support, including electronic filing and managing the Accounts inbox
  • Checking, obtaining authorization, and processing Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Undertaking various other tasks as needed
  • Assist with month-end processes within your area of responsibility
  • Support fee earners and respond to queries efficiently and promptly
  • Remind fee earners about the annual client balance confirmation correspondence
  • Liaise with EAs for internal printing recharges
  • Communicate with third-party suppliers and resolve ad hoc queries

The right candidate will have:

  • Positive attitude, reliable, and maintains confidentiality
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision
  • Knowledge of SAR (preferred)
  • Superior organizational and time management abilities
  • Skilled at fostering and maintaining trustful relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • Experience with Aderant system (preferred)
  • Thrives both independently and as part of a team

  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to tailor approach to different needs
