Career Moves are currently partnering with an established Financial Services business based in the heart of London. They are looking to appoint a Finance Assistance who will work closely with management accountants to support financial management across assigned entities. Responsibilities include assisting with financial reporting, tax compliance, strategic planning, and general finance tasks.Duties
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Support inter-company reconciliations and month-end processes.
  • Help prepare local payroll and year-end statutory accounts.
  • Assist in tax returns, reconciliations, and compliance with regional requirements.
  • Support variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial reports and project work as needed
Requirements
  • Graduate-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Solid accounting knowledge and quick to learn new tasks.
  • Strong understanding of UK financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyze complex data with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High standard of written and spoken English (fluency in additional European languages is a plus).
