Description

  • Accounts payable - processing invoices, supplier invoices, payment runs
  • Accounts receivable - raising purchase orders, dealing with queries
  • Assisting with daily transaction processing and bank reconciliations

  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities

  • Preparing journals and assisting with management accounts

  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders

  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements

  • Liaising with other departments and external auditors when required

  • Supporting the Finance Manager and wider team with ad hoc duties

Profile

  • Actively studying or part-qualified in ACCA/CIMA/AAT
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software systems

  • Prior experience working in a financial services environment is advantageous

  • Proactive attitude, eager to learn, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
