Job Title: Finance Assistant Salary: £25k-£28k Location: NW London

Summary

We are representing one of London's fastest growing block management companies based in the NW area of London. Winning lots of new business, the team is continuing to grow and therefore looking to bring a Finance Assistant on board.

The ideal candidate will be a university graduate/school leaver with a real desire to begin their finance career within a reputable firm. The role will include a study support package to get you started on your AAT (or continue if you've already started). Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electronic data and e-mails from shared mailboxes, ensuring all customers and suppliers are promptly responded to.
  • Liaison with managers, accountants and support staff as necessary
  • To participate in all internal training
  • Monitoring daily bank statements for BACS receipts and ensuring all are posted accurately and on time.
  • Banking as required
  • Filing all invoices accurately and correctly
  • Sending remittances to suppliers and taking primary responsibility for dealing with supplier invoices, ensuring they are posted via Fixflo onto Qube.
  • Take payments over the phone
  • Responding to supplier queries regarding payment and contract orders, ensuring there is a smooth-running process when settling invoices
  • Post additional charges correctly and accurately
  • Entering information into Qube correctly with the correct apportionments.
  • Undertake Bank Recs as instructed.
  • Post invoices correctly to the system ensuring that all three-point checks are satisfied
  • Filing paid invoices and other invoices correctly.
  • Posting receipts daily, including Card, BACS, cheques and Website Payments
  • Updating and chasing PLI for contractors so that orders can be raised, and invoices can be posted
  • Adding contractors to system and updating all information, making sure there are contact details so that remittances can be sent smoothly with no errors.
  • Tenant Adjustments
  • Processing necessary adjustments on to Qube
  • Handling queries from tenants and suppliers and all external agencies by telephone and in writing, in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.
