Job Title: Part-Time Finance Assistant

About the Role:We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Finance Assistant on behalf of our client, a dynamic production company based in South West London. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support the finance team in a creative and fast-paced environment. The role is ideal for someone looking for a flexible part-time position with a passion for finance and the media industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the finance team with daily bookkeeping, including processing invoices, payments, and expense claims.
- Maintain accurate financial records and update internal databases.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and budgets.
- Handle financial data entry and maintain organized filing systems.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Provide support with ad-hoc financial tasks and special projects as needed.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree or ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (xero)
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- An interest in the creative industries and willingness to learn.
