Graduate Finance Assistant | Hyper-Growth Live Entertainment Business | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with one of the most prominent and exciting businesses in the Live Event and Entertainment space, in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their growing team.

Our client are a dynamic and forward-thinking live events company based in the heart of London. From humble beginnings as an ambitious startup, the business have swiftly risen to become a global leader in pioneering live entertainment / events that redefine industry standards. Renowned as thought leaders in their respective sectors, they are leaving an indelible imprint by spearheading innovative approaches and cultivating collaborative communities around distinct industry niches. Their diverse portfolio boasts a mix of groundbreaking shows tailored for elite influencers and trendsetters.

The client pride themselves on a world class offering of their shows, recognising that team and customer chemistry is paramount. They operate in exclusive, inspiring environments boasting year on year turnover growth at circa £30 million, remaining profitable since the pandemic and looking set to continue on this trajectory.

The Role:

As the Finance Assistant, you will be responsible a range of transactional, AP and AR duties. Reporting into a senior management accountant and supporting a Finance Director, this role will have a lot of influence on the department and will be a great learning curve for those starting their career in finance. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days expected in a modern and exciting office space, consisting of a dynamic team that are passionate about the industry and a culture of internal promotion and development.

Duties:

  • Reconcile AP and AR ledgers
  • Generate invoices and chase credit notes
  • Manage accounts inbox and sales ledger queries
  • Assist with FP&A preparation
  • Support senior finance team with month end and year end close
  • Management of expense reports
  • Ad hoc tasks to support finance team

What we need to see (essential):

  • Great communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree

What we'd like to see (bonus):

  • Passion for live entertainment space
  • ACCA / CIMA / ACA / AAT studier

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 + study support

Location: London - 3 days in the office
