Our client, a medium-sized law firm with an international presence, has a fantastic permanent job opportunity available for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their head office accounts team based in the City.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, core duties will include:

  • Responsibility for the accounts payable function
  • Daily bank reconciliation for the office & client account
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing cheques, BACS & CHAPS
  • Responsible for petty cash & reconciliation
  • Ensuring professional disbursements are processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Resolving queries & liaising with partners, fee earners & secretaries
  • Assisting with preparing bills during busy periods
  • Adhering to SARs
