Our Client is Europe’s leading Christian Media organisation. They are currently seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Executive to join their finance team as a job share on a part-time basis.

The role will be 21 hours worked across three full days Wed, Thurs and Fri’s

Tasks and duties

Post purchase ledger invoices on the same day received, ensuring accurate coding and posting with full backup documentation. This includes checking costs against purchase orders.

Resolve supplier queries quickly and effectively, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring clear communication.

Prepare payment runs diligently, ensuring that staff, freelancers, and suppliers are paid promptly according to agreed terms.

Work closely with other team members to continuously improve the efficiency of the purchase ledger process.

Contribute to monthly financial reporting by providing accurate data related to accounts payable.

Qualifications and experience

Proven experience of all aspects of purchase ledger.

Sound understanding of double entry and reconciliations.

Experience of importing & reconciliation to external databases.

Ability to learn new systems quickly.

Strong Excel skills. Confident in importing external data.
