The Payment Processor / Finance Assistant will:

  • Support our External Accountants with the preparation of Quarterly Management Accounts, and Year-end Accounts.
  • Process new loan payments, daily, using GoCardless, Salesforce and the Bank.
  • Support with any requests from our Auditors.
  • Complete Quarterly CT61 Forms and track interest/HMRC payments.
  • Complete monthly statements for individual and company investors which will include R185 certificates, and distribution to the investors.
  • Check all invoices received from our suppliers and ensure these are paid in a timely manner.
  • Set up Direct Debit mandates for all customers, and complete funding payout.
  • Support with Customer Service, eg provide statements to customers, settlement figures, etc.
  • Creating a monthly actual P&L and budget of operational cost and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Review of broker invoices against agreement to ensure the correct fee is charged.
  • Produce monthly cashflow forecasts.
  • Ad-hoc MI requests, liaising with external accountants and updating reporting measures.
  • Support connecting brokers of the business with Accounts and finance support.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • AAT or similar accountancy qualification.
  • GoCardless and Salesforce experience.
  • Strong communicator with clear speech and writing.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Strong experience in working with financial data.
  • Excellent excel skills and use of different functions.
  • Effective team player with the ability to work independently, exercise initiative and take ownership of projects.
  • Good time management skills to work on deadline driven projects.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Sense of accountability and pride in their work.
