Our client, a dynamic organisation in the industry, is seeking a talented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team on a Permanent basis. As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate records and processing invoices. Your attention to detail and strong organisational skills will be essential in ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger function.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare payment runs and reconcile supplier statements.
  • Assist with month-end procedures and help in producing financial reports.
  • Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Must have C I S Experience!
  • Any Construction Experience is highly desirable!
  • Experience working in a similar finance role, ideally with purchase ledger responsibilities.
  • Able to work under pressure and with a high volume of invoices.
  • Strong numerical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
