Purchase Ledger Assistant – Media & Hospitality Group - £30-32kWe are working with a dynamic and well-known organisation in the media and hospitality sector looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to join a collaborative and fast-paced finance team.This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, offering the chance to contribute to a highly regarded brand while developing your finance expertise.Key Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase invoices and payment runs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage staff expenses and reconcile bank statements.
  • Post transactions onto SAGE, maintaining financial records in line with company procedures.
  • Reconcile monthly financial data, including external content trackers and associated sales invoices.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing corporate expense statements.
  • Support the wider finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Deal with finance-related queries professionally, escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Assist the Head of Finance with ad-hoc projects, including budget updates.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Solid experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify anomalies.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and SAGE 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders.
