Your new companyA South West London-based publishing company, dedicated to creating beautiful and engaging books.Your new roleDuties will include :Sales invoice processing

  • Liaison with Production and Sales team to obtain information required to generate sales invoices in Quickbooks online
  • Sales through different channels; distributors, direct to customer and licences which requires attention to detail, review and problem solving
  • Direct customer sales process commences with printer invoice producing the books and loading at port - posting of both sides of the transaction, purchase and sales, matching and review
  • Strong commercial sense to evaluate sales profitability
  • Training provided to understand the business of publishing and sales of books
  • Monthly group reporting - working to deadlines
  • Customer liaison and responding to queries.
  • Managing the Aged Debtors ledger and control account
  • Review ledger for credit balances, old balances, credit notes required etc

Credit control includes weekly and monthly tasks.What you'll need to succeedYou will have 4 years + 'hands on' experience at overseeing the sales ledger and live local to South West London due to commute.Desirable Skills and Requirements:

  • Previous multi-currency sales ledger experience
  • Strong commercial sense
  • IT literate with strong excel skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Quickbooks online experience, desirable
  • Publishing industry experience, desirable
  • Biblio software experience, desirable
