Ambition are supporting an international law firm with their recruitment for a Senior Purchase Ledger Assistant. This is great opportunity to join an established team, within their London office on a permanent basis. The firm also offers hybrid working and a competitive salary.

Reporting into the Accounts Payable manager, the key duties will include;

  • Posting of supplier invoices and checking that the invoices have been correctly coded to the general ledger. Liaising with invoice approvers where necessary.
  • Posting of disbursement costs to matters including Counsel fee notes.
  • Weekly authorisation and payment of staff expenses
  • Review and maintenance of account payable ledger balances.
  • Assisting accounts payable manager in a senior capacity to provide leadership and training as required.
  • Taking ownership of certain account payable tasks/ projects seeing them through to completion.

Successful candidates will have previous work experience within a similar role, ideally within a law firm. Experience using Aderant/Elite is also advantageous.
