Lab Technician- London
Platform Recruitment has partnered with an innovative computing client. They are looking to take on a lab technicianwith experienceinoptics/photonics and have a strong interest in HPC.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical and electronic engineering, computer science or a similar subject or alternatively 5 years of working experience in a test lab environment.
Key responsibilities:
+Organise PAT testing of equipment
+ Lab facility management
+Design of electronic circuits and PCBs
+Health and safety procedures and risk assessment knowledge
Key skills:
+PCB design and soldering experience
+ Competent in handling optical fibres and optoelectronic devices
+ Familiarity with pythonto operate automation equipment
+ Automation of RF & optical test and measurement equipment
