GSL Education are currently seeking a number of detail-oriented and enthusiastic Science Technicians to join our client schools in Ealing. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the practical aspects of science education and support students' learning experiences.

As a Science Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for science experiments and practical lessons.
• Ensuring that all equipment is in working order and conducting regular maintenance checks.
• Supporting teachers and students during practical lessons, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
• Managing and organizing the science laboratory, ensuring a safe and tidy working environment.
• Ordering and replenishing laboratory supplies and chemicals.
• Collaborating with the science department to contribute to the development of engaging and safe practical activities.

Candidate Qualifications and Attributes:

• Previous experience as a Science Technician is advantageous.
• A strong understanding of health and safety procedures related to science laboratories.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Enthusiasm for science education and a willingness to contribute to the success of practical lessons.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety in the laboratory.

You must be in possession of an enhanced child only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
