As a Cath Lab Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in planning, preparing, and coordinating advanced cardiac procedures. Youll be hands-on with a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the highest standard of care by:

• Monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Supporting patients throughout their procedures.
• Assisting with emergency interventions as part of a 24-hour service.

This role provides exposure to some of the most advanced techniques in the field, including TAVI, pacemaker implants, 3D mapping electrophysiology studies, and more. Additionally, youll gain experience in interventional radiology procedures, further broadening your clinical expertise.

• Supporting adult cardiac interventional procedures such as PTCA, stent placement, lithotripsy, and rotablation.
• Assisting in structural heart procedures like TAVI, PFO/ASD closures, and LAA closures.
• Participating in electrophysiology studies, including RF and Cryo ablations.
• Handling device implants such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and leadless pacemakers.
• Rotating through interventional radiology for procedures like PICC line and Permcath insertion.

Youll also be part of an on-call rota, providing crucial care in emergency situations.

• Registered General Nurse with active NMC registration.
• Experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Cardiology is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
