- Define and manage the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the bonus engine in alignment with business goals, player engagement strategies, and compliance standards.
- Continuously refine and prioritize the product backlog based on stakeholder input, player feedback, and market trends.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to ensure the bonus engine remains innovative and competitive.
- Lead the development of new bonus types, promotional mechanics, and player reward programs (e.g., free spins, cashback, loyalty programs) that enhance player experience and retention.
- Collaborate with data science, analytics, and marketing teams to implement bonus structures that are both attractive and profitable.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of features, ensuring high-quality product releases with minimal technical debt.
- Anticipate and mitigate any risks associated with bonus abuse, fraud, or regulatory breaches.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to optimize the user journey for players interacting with the bonus engine and promotions.
- Monitor KPIs related to bonus effectiveness and continually adjust strategies based on performance metrics.
- Partner with marketing, CRM, operations, and customer support teams to ensure successful execution and promotion of bonuses across all channels.
- Manage product backlogs, prioritize features, and maintain the sprint cycle in collaboration with the development and QA teams.
- Oversee sprint planning and daily standups, ensuring continuous progress toward product goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Owner or Product Manager in the gambling, gaming, or e-commerce industry, with a focus on bonus systems, promotions, or player rewards.
- Experience working in agile environments and using agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong understanding of bonus structures, loyalty programs, and promotional mechanics in the gambling industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical and business requirements to diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with product management tools like Jira, Confluence, Aha!, and roadmapping software.
- Knowledge of CRM, CMS, and bonus management platforms used in the gambling industry.
- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SQL) to track KPIs related to bonuses and promotions.
