C# / Commando Developer - Hybrid working 3 days in Office, inside IR35 12 Month initial contract

Our prestigious Global Investment Bank client is seeking a skilled C# / Commando Developer to join its trading floor team, supporting USD swaps traders in London. This role involves delivering high-impact solutions to business challenges, developing, maintaining, and enhancing trading tools, and ensuring smooth trading operations and efficient workflows. You will collaborate with application teams and the commando community across global locations including Paris, New York, and Tokyo.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a developer on a trading floor.
Strong knowledge of software factory principles.
Experience with Swaps, Bonds, or Equity products.
Proficient in C#, Python, and VBA.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
Strong team player with effective communication skills.
Good knowledge of legal and regulatory responsibilities, and compliance with internal and external guidelines.

Day-to-day of the role:

Develop long-term solutions for the USD Swap desk, focusing on robust and targeted information system applications.
Provide daily operational support to ensure all applications are functioning optimally.
Engage in change management processes to adapt and improve trading operations.
Design and implement new solutions for Risk and PnL based on existing data sources.
Industrialize USD Swap trading tools to enhance trading efficiency.
Contribute actively to the commando community by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Offer backup support for colleagues as needed.
