The Architecture and Research Team is responsible for research on our next generation GPU technologies, to make future GPUs feature rich, low power and high performance for the ever-demanding computer graphics market. The research work will provide proposals for next generation GPU architectures, technologies and configurations, as well as performance estimation before the GPU hardware becomes available.
The architecture and research activities cover the whole pipeline of GPU architecture for design optimizations and performance enhancement. It is a challenging and rewarding job for people with a passion for computer graphics.
Key Responsibilities
Research on next generation GPU architecture
Algorithm development and experiments for GPU performance improvement
GPU performance estimation for future GPUs architecture and configurations
Develop research simulation tools for architecture research
Exploration of new GPU features in next generation GPUs Required Experience
1st class or 2:1 degree in Electronics, Computer Science or other related subjects
Passion for computer graphics and desire for knowledge
Strong innovation abilities, analytical and problem-solving skill
Solid programming skill (C, C++)
Motivated, able to work under own initiative
Good communication skill, team player
Skills you might also have
Knowledge of computer graphics and API (OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX, or Metal)
