An Outstanding Secondary School in the Borough of Southwark are looking to recruit a skilled and committed Art & DT Technician for a September start.

This Art & DT Technician job provides the opportunity to work amongst a fantastic small team, supporting the delivery of Art & DT, and helping to manage the departmental resources and supporting the other members of the team.

The School offers a rich and stimulating education comprised of a knowledge-rich curriculum, diverse cultural and extracurricular opportunities, and a strong pastoral support system. You will be working in an inclusive community as an Art / Design & Technology Technician, where all children are challenged to be the best they can be.

Supporting Art and DT in KS3 KS5

Supporting teachers in the classroom during practical lessons

Help and support the extracurricular / enrichment programme

A strong academic background GCSEs, A Levels and a degree from a reputable university

Child related experience an advantage Tutor / TA / Mentor

Enthusiasm and passion for creative subjects and for the role practical work plays in education

Excellent interpersonal skills with children and adults

Hardworking, committed and outgoing graduate

Excellent organisation and communication skills required

Versatile team player and dedicated individual
