We have a fantastic opportunity for an Art Teacher to join this Client, a highly regarded secondary school in Lambeth, on a part-time basis (2 days per week) starting January 2024. This position focuses on delivering engaging Art lessons to students across Key Stages 3 & 4, nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and technical skills. The role requires a dedicated professional with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in secondary education.

Job Role Requirements:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess inspiring Art lessons for Key Stage 3 & 4.
  • Encourage student participation in a range of artistic techniques and mediums.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, ensuring high standards and fostering a love of Art.
  • Support the wider school community and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

  • Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Proven experience in teaching Art at the secondary level, ideally with Key Stages 3 & 4.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for inspiring young artists.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
