Looking for a qualified and experienced Art Teacher (Photography specialism) to join a rapidly growing, and dedicated Art department.

An outstanding secondary school in Waltham Forest is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Art Teacher who has a degree in Art Education or a related field, as well as QTS. The teacher candidate will have experience teaching art to students of all ages and levels, and a strong background in various art forms including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.

Responsibilities will include developing and implementing lesson plans that engage students in the creative process, encouraging experimentation and exploration of different art forms, and providing individualised feedback and support to students to help them develop their skills and talents. The Art Teacher will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment, managing supplies and equipment, and keeping accurate records of student progress.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and be able to work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and parents. They will also have a passion for art education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
