The Role - Behaviour Support Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to join a high achieving SEMH School to start ASAP for the full academic year or longer. For this Behaviour Support Assistant role, you will be supporting a year 9 male student who has SEMH on a 1:1 basis within the most challenging class in the school. For this Behaviour Support Assistant, it is essential that you have strong behaviour management skills and also Physical Intervention Training. To be a successful Behaviour Support Assistant you will have a calm and confident approach and must be able to think on the spot and act quickly should a challenging situation arise.

This secondary SEMH School can be found in the vibrant London Borough of Newham and is close to Stratford. This SEMH School caters for 89 students between the ages of 11 - 19 with SEMH and Challenging Behaviour. This SEN School was recently graded as 'Outstanding' in all areas in their most recent Ofsted inspection in February 2022.
