BIOLOGY TEACHER ASAP start - Islington
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Biology to join an Ofsted Good, all boys secondary school. The school is based in Islington, North London. This is an outer London school.
This Biology teaching position starts ASAP and is a full-time teaching position. The school is well equipped with multiple modern science labs. You need to be able to teach all key stages including GCSE and A Level.
BIOLOGY POSITION: · Full-time Head of Biology · Ideally starting ASAP· Teach all key stages including GCSE and A Level · This is a mainstream, Ofsted Good secondary school · The Biology and Science department is well resourced · Full time (5 days a week) position including · Parking is available on site and the school is well served by public transport
ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL HEAD OF BIOLOGY WILL BE: · Qualified Biology or Science technology teacher - UK or Overseas Biology or Science Teacher · Ideally hold a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS preferred) or equivalent. · Someone who can manage students of different abilities and differentiate lessons in line with the needs of the students · You will be proactive and innovative with the ability to engage students in different ways. · Be a team player
CONTRACT DETAILS FOR THE HEAD OF BIOLOGY TEACHER POSITION: · Location - Islington· Start date - ASAP· Contract type - temporary with a view to becoming permanent after 12 weeks · Duration / Likely Duration - September 2024 - 2025 · Full time/part time - Full time 5 days · Minimum rate of pay - Outer Pay Scale
