Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Biology teacher to join this Client, a well-respected secondary school in Islington, for a maternity cover position starting in May 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Key Stages 3 and 4 in a thriving educational environment, on a full-time basis, for a 1-year contract.
The Role:
- Teaching Biology to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Assessing and tracking student progress to ensure high attainment.
- Collaborating with a strong Science department to develop and implement best practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Biology or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Biology at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- A passion for science education and a commitment to student success.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
