The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring continuity of learning by supervising classes in the absence of teachers. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain valuable classroom experience, particularly if you are considering a career in teaching or education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage classroom behaviour.
- Ensure students remain engaged and follow the curriculum.
- Provide support and guidance where necessary.
- Work across different subjects and year groups.
- Uphold the academy's values and maintain a positive learning environment.
About You:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom and engage students effectively.
- A passion for education and supporting young people.
- Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
- A commitment to the values and ethos of The Bridge Academy.
