We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our Tempest team, working in a thriving mainstream secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with students, providing crucial support to their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during the absence of teachers, ensuring students stay on task and follow lesson plans.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and resources across a variety of subjects.
- Foster a positive learning environment that supports student engagement and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff to enhance the learning experience.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in managing classrooms and maintaining a productive atmosphere.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work across different subjects and year groups.
- A genuine interest in supporting the education and well-being of students.
- Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
