About the Role:Our vibrant and supportive secondary school in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and confident Cover Supervisors to join our dedicated team. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the teaching and learning of students across all year groups, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular teaching staff. You will be responsible for supervising students during lessons, ensuring they remain on task and follow instructions. Your role will also include assisting with classroom management, providing support to students where necessary, and ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:路 Supervise and support students during lessons, following lesson plans set by absent teachers 路 Ensure students are engaged and on task during class 路 Provide assistance with classroom management and student behavior 路 Support the teaching of a wide range of subjects across the curriculum 路 Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students 路 Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff
About You:路 Previous experience working with children or in a school environment is desirable but not essential 路 Strong communication and interpersonal skills 路 Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively 路 A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting students 路 A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards working with young people 路 A strong commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all students
