Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons as a Cover Teacher across various subjects and year groups
- Manage classrooms efficiently, ensuring a positive and structured learning environment
- Follow lesson plans provided or adapt them to suit the needs of the students
- Build rapport with students to encourage participation and maintain academic progress
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth day-to-day running of classes
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Cover Teacher in primary or secondary schools
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools within Southwark
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
