An outstanding school based in Ealing is seeking a creative and passionate Design and Technology Teacher with a specialism in Food Technology to join their team from September 2025.

This is a full-time position, with working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

The salary will match the inner London MPS/UPS scale.

Design and Technology Teacher (Food Technology) - Ealing, London

Deliver Expert Instruction: Guide students through a variety of design and technology concepts, with a particular focus on food technology. Help students develop a deep understanding of food science, nutrition, product design, and cooking techniques, while fostering practical skills in the kitchen.

Support Student Growth: Inspire creativity and problem-solving abilities by incorporating hands-on learning experiences, projects, and cooking challenges. Encourage students to explore new ingredients, techniques, and technologies in food production and design, while developing critical thinking and collaboration skills.

Foster a Love of Cooking and Design: Promote a passion for food technology and design by encouraging students to innovate and experiment in the kitchen. Help them understand the importance of sustainability, healthy eating, and the role of food in the global community.

Create a Positive Classroom Environment: Build a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel safe to experiment and express their creativity. Provide tailored support to ensure all students thrive in both practical and theoretical aspects of food technology.
