Job Overview:

We are looking for creative and enthusiastic Drama Teachers to join our vibrant schools in East London. The ideal candidate will hold a PGCE and have achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS). We also welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and those with equivalent qualifications, such as DTLLS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Drama lessons to students.
  • Develop students understanding of theatre and performance arts.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in Drama.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Drama curriculum.
  • Direct school plays, productions, and extracurricular activities related to drama and theatre.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (DTLLS or similar).
  • Passion for teaching Drama and inspiring students in the performing arts.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • NQTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
