Job Title: Maths and Economics Teacher (KS3 & KS4 Maths, A-Level Economics)

We are seeking a passionate Maths and Economics Teacher to join our thriving school in Islington from January. This is a unique 50/50 role, teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 and Economics at A-Level, designed for an educator with expertise in both subjects who is dedicated to delivering outstanding lessons and inspiring students across age groups. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Teach A-Level Economics, focusing on core concepts and preparing students for success in exams and beyond.
- Track and assess student progress across both subjects, providing targeted support and encouragement.
- Foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, promoting curiosity and a love for learning.
- Work collaboratively with the Maths and Economics departments to align with curriculum goals.
- Engage with school activities, events, and the wider school community in Islington.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience and confidence teaching Maths at KS3/4 and Economics at A-Level.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
- A commitment to student success and high-quality education in both Maths and Economics.
