Maternity Cover - January 2025 - August 2025

Location: Westminster, Central London

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated A-Level Economics and Business Teacher to join our highly-regarded, all-girls secondary school in Central London. This full-time role is for a fixed-term contract from January 2025 to August 2025. The successful candidate will teach A-Level Economics and Business, inspiring and guiding students towards academic success during this crucial period in their education.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in A-Level Economics and Business, following the curriculum and helping students achieve their full potential.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons, ensuring that students receive the guidance and support needed to excel in both subjects.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, monitoring their progress and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging student participation and a passion for learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the department and across the school to ensure consistent academic standards and share best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching A-Level Economics and Business.
• Strong subject knowledge, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and achieving excellent student outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage, motivate, and support students.
• A commitment to providing a high standard of education and contributing to the broader life of the school.
