The School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, innovative and well-qualified Teacher of Economics with Business Studies with a successful track record of success at Key Stage 4 & 5, who is committed to maintaining a consistently high standard of learning and teaching for all students. In particular, candidates should have:
  • Ability to, plan and assess and give meaningful feedback to students
  • Passionate about Economics with the knowledge and skills to enthuse our highly ambitious students
  • An excellent track record teaching at GCSE and A level, where possible, demonstrated through exemplary examination results
  • A willingness to teach across Business and Economics and broaden curriculum understanding
  • A willingness to contribute to the development of the Academy's Christian ethos
  • The passion and ability to inspire and motivate others
  • The ability to be a confident and highly effective classroom teacher, sensitive to student need, with high expectations of all
  • Enthusiasm for developing innovative approaches to learning and teaching
  • A clear understanding of the current curriculum, assessment and pedagogical developments relating to Economics
  • Be committed to their own professional development and learning
  • A passion to work collaboratively to develop a knowledge rich, diverse and inclusive curriculum
