m2r Education are proud to be working with this British Council accredited provider of teaching English in the UK who need residential and non residential EFL Teachers to join their Summer School in July 2024.

Located in beautiful grounds, just 30 minutes from Central London, they offer short courses to boys and girls aged from 12 to 17.

Their courses combine English learning with either Science and Mathematics or Sport. These core elements are complemented by a varied programme of Creative Art classes including Music, Dance, Drama and Art.

Situated within  a fantastic campus, they offer students fantastic facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool, recently refurbished classrooms, comfortable and welcoming boarding houses, and extensive sports facilities.

Dates:

1st July - 29th July

Role:

  • Deliver high quality English language lessons, classes of 12 students (12-14 & 15-17). Students are mainly B1.
  • Prepare lessons based around a set project
  • Teaching will be delivered in 2, 2 week blocks
  • 5 teaching days + 1 excursion day

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CELTA/Trinity TESOL (A PGCE with QTS in either MFL, or English may also be considered)
  • Enhanced DBS on update service (if you do not have this, one will be applied for on your behalf)
  • Have undertaken a safeguarding course in the past 12 months (we can provide further details if you need to do this)
  • Experience of teaching classes with up to 12 students
  • Genuine interest in working with young people

Rate:

  • Up to £530 per week + holiday pay (paid at the end of the contract as a bonus payment).
  • If residential then you will receive a single bedroom, separate to the students, plus all meals.

July 2024 Start

For safeguarding purposes, a valid police clearance certificate / DBS is required, plus 2 professional references.
