Role Overview:We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Interim English Specialist/Teacher to join our vibrant team. This role is perfect for a passionate educator who is eager to have a significant impact on students' learning journeys. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons, inspiring a love for literature, and supporting students in achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the overall student experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the English curriculum and best teaching practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
