This Ofsted Good, mixed secondary school is seeking a teacher of English on a full-time basis. The school is in the borough of Greenwich walking distance of a range of transport link shops and amenities.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND ENGLISH TEACHING ROLE :
- A medium-size secondary school
- English teacher will teach at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Supportive team and a strong leader
- Department with a collaborative approach to planning, delivery, and assessment

- This is a full-time position including planning and marking
THE RIGHT ENGLISH TEACHER WILL BE:
- Confident with teaching GCSE English
- Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
THE SUCCESSFUL ENGLISH TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Degree relating to English
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
- A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
- Salary paid to scale - GBP180 - GBP220 per day Inner London pay
- QTS/ECT English Teacher
- Able to show a real love for your subject
- Happy to work with solid direction from a fabulous leadership team
- Used to working on your own initiative to solve the day-to-day challenges that arise
- Be able to plan and deliver innovative lessons with links to other core subjects
- Happy to go the extra mile in support of your students
- Able to work with students to achieve great results
- Be an inspirational teacher and a positive role model
