English Language Teacher (A-Level)
  • A- Level English Language Teacher
  • Part time - Mondays and Fridays but flexible. 12:30pm -3:30pm or 1:00pm - 4:00pm
  • ASAP Start - 1 year contract 

The Role

The school are looking for an English Language Teacher who is confident in Teaching A-Level English.

This role is open to both newly qualified and established Teachers however, you must be confident in Teacher A-Level English Language.

In this role you will be teaching A- Level English Language to a very bright pupil. you will play a pivotal role in the success of the pupil through helping the student develop her skills and reach her maximum potential through the delivery of  the course and contributing to the development of School curriculum and student experience.

You will deliver engaging lessons across a range of topics following the curriculum.

The ideal candidates will have experience of teaching in a School environment and up to date knowledge of subject area, syllabus, and teaching methods, alongside the following qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant subject
  • English and Math's or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent
  • QTS

 

The School

The School is part of a trust that support young people who have missed out significantly on schooling for example due to chronic illnesses or hospital and medical needs to become socially and emotionally for the next steps. This is not a SEN School and the pupils are from mainstream education.
