LTF Recruitment is seeking a dynamic Art Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Waltham Forest, London.

This school has a thriving Art department with excellent resources and a commitment to fostering creativity in students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). As the Art Teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring students to explore their artistic potential and develop their skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating Art lessons to students in KS3 and KS4, covering a wide range of artistic techniques and styles
  • Foster a love of art and creativity, encouraging students to experiment and express themselves through their work
  • Prepare students for GCSE Art by developing their skills and knowledge in line with the curriculum
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets to help students improve
  • Organise and manage the Art department's resources, ensuring students have access to the materials they need to succeed
  • Plan and participate in extra-curricular activities, such as art clubs, exhibitions, and trips to galleries and museums
  • Work closely with other staff to create cross-curricular opportunities that integrate Art into other subjects
