About the Role - English Teacher - Newham, East London

A maternity contract starting immediately which is paid to scale. This will be a long-term supply cover through Tradewind Recruitment paid on a weekly basis. You would be teaching both Key Stage 3 & 4 English and English Literature. You must be able to teach to GCSE level.

Tradewind are looking to appoint someone who will inspire and enthuse students, delivering an enriched curriculum. A strong, enthusiastic, energetic and creative practitioner with outstanding potential to join their already high achieving English team. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons and achieving excellent results for your students, instilling in them a love for both English Language and English Literature and a desire to learn. The person appointed will be committed to outstanding Teaching and Learning, inspiring the students to reach their full potential and therefore raising student attainment. You must have up to date knowledge of the curriculum and pastoral issues and clear ideas on how to meet the needs of the students in these subjects.
